100PK CDR-B700 Gold 48X Review
I purchased this product because they were advertised as being 74 min CDR. Now maybe it's my old burner that has trouble with the 80 min CDRs or maybe they are just a mass produced lower quality product. Either way, I didn't get what I needed and thought I was getting due to the fact that what I actually ordered was 74 min CDR, (like it said at amazon) not 80 min CDR!

MAXELL VP200 VHS Wet Cleaner Review
I was volunteered by my wife to record her friend's home VHS tapes onto DVDs. I have 2 VCRs, both of which I rarely use anymore. Between her old tapes and my old VCRs the picture and particularly the sound quality was awful. After I used the Maxwell VP200 VHS Wet Cleaner, the picture and sound improved greatly - probably the same quality as it was when the tapes were originally made about 10 years ago.
Product arrived quickly, and was easy to use.
5 stars.

Maxell Video VHS GX T160 (3 -Pack) Review
There actually is no glich in Amazon's system, they just need to update their picture, so what the other reviewer got was correct, like the title says all Maxell GX-Silver tapes are what is now released "Standard Grade", and HGX-Gold is now released as "High Grade".

Maxell HP20 Headphone Extension Cord with Adapters Review
Sure the cord is tightly spiraled like you can see in the picture. Just like the old land line telephone cords, which for me is great. You don't have to constantly worry about getting the cord out of the way, because when you're done useing it it spirals back up, which for a cord of this size is excellent. For the price it is a great buy, I'm glad I got this cord, is perfect for my needs, and the adapters that come with it are a bonus, especially the splitter.

Dry Automobile CD Lens Cleaner Review
The Maxell Dry Automobile CD Lens Cleaner is a miraculous tool. The CD player in my '96 Grand Cherokee began rejecting every disk with an "error" message. I started imagining a pricey repair or replacement process but after some Internet research decided to try this first. It fixed the problem immediately. Not only that, but the sound is actually better, I am hearing details of the music I listen to that have been missing until using this device. The disk is run in your deck for 20 seconds on Track 2 and that is all it takes. Track 3 is instrumental music, a bonus if you enjoy such things. The cleaning function of Track 2 is good for 20 uses and the CD holder conveniently gives you a tracking tool to mark off each use. Maxell recommends using the cleaner every 10 hours. If your auto's CD player has stopped working this is definitely worth a try, and because of the increased sound clarity, I won't be waiting another 13 years to perform this simple maintenance.

MAXELL UR-60 Blank Audio Cassette Tape (Package of 8) Review
Maxell manufactures excellent 60 minute cassette tapes for all purpose general recording. As long as you have the right kind of equipment, these tapes record the sounds of record albums, radio shows, CD-Rs, people talking and more. These tapes have 60 minutes worth of blank recording tapes on them so there are 30 blank minutes for recording on each side. This is useful when recording thirty minute talk shows, for example. The normal bias recording tape and the low noise surface enhance the overall quality of your recording, too.
Moreover, the tapes allow you hours upon hours of listening enjoyment because you can record over them many, many times; and they take up very little room so they're easy to carry around with you.
Unfortunately, these tapes cannot produce the same quality recording reproduction as a digitalized copy would give you. This means that if, hypothetically, you were to copy a CD-R onto another CD-R instead of a Maxell cassette tape, the quality of the sound on the CD-R copy would be sharper and clearer with less background noise than a Maxell cassette tape or any other brand of cassette tape could give you. Moreover, cassette tapes can break if not handled with care. These shortcomings frustrate me and therefore I will have to take off one star to make this a four star review.
The tapes have small pieces of plastic on the narrow top of each cassette which you can punch out easily so that accidental recording over an existing recording is impossible. If you do wish to record over an original recording then you can merely place a small amount of regular tape over the hole. The cassette tape is now ready to record a fresh recording.
Overall, Maxell makes a great choice when you want reliable cassette tapes to record music, the radio, people talking or anything you wish to record. I have used this brand for decades and I cannot think of any major complaints. I highly recommend Maxell normal bias 60 minute cassette tapes for you to use when you need to record something onto a tape.

Maxell Slim CD/DVD Clamshells, Clear, 20 Count Review
I bought these to put in my PS3 Case. I was hoping that they would be thin enough, small enough to slide into the slots.. the same sort of slots that one has with those 'Visor cd' cases.
They fit. Now I can carry my game DVD/CDs in the slots without worry of them getting scratched in the slots.. which eventually happens in those types of things.
have fun

Maxell CD-330 CD-to-Cassette Audio Adapter Review
This product works great for the old radio/cassette players in the car! Instead of purchasing a new stereo/CD player for my older vehicle, I installed the original radio/cassette player and got the adapter to plug into my CD player. Works just as good and didn't cost as much as a new stereo!

MAXELL CD-392 Double Slim Line CD Jewel Cases (pkg of 25 doubles) Review
I already had about 200 of these. I ran out finally and I ordered some more the other day only to open the package and find a pack of jewel cases that look nothing like the 200 I already have. The old ones are sleek, have deep beautiful color, and are just plain nice to look at. These new ones are different, different color, different design, and now are half clear and half colored. I liked the old ones allot more. These are just not as good, not as classy, even dare I say ugly. What a bummer.

Maxell HP550F Foldable Digitial Full Ear Headphone Review
For the price, and the sound quality these little headphones are perfect for using portable light MP3/iPod/cassette etc players. They fold up fairly well and are light. The sound quality is pretty darn good for the price. They look nice, are fairly comfortable and adjust to the average 6ft tall male. I had a friend who is 6'4 try them on...and for me at 6FT tall, I had to pull the speakers down 1 notch from being all the way extended. My friend who is a pretty big guy, could not get them on without possibly breaking them. All that aside, you have a little Volume control and a stereo/mono switch on the (note VERY thin cable) that is pretty darn flimbsy. But it does work and is an ah gee neato addition. As said they are good for little items, like when you are out walking/jogging, waiting for whatever reason etc. They do fold fairly well but be careful where you place them in your backpack, travel bag, suitcase etc as they are Very prone to break easily. I went through 2 of them since last year. Both luckily were returned even after using an old receipt to a local store. Please note: these are pretty good for a simple basic headphone set and that is IT, period. Yes they will handle HDTV, TV, Stereos, you name it.. but if you move around too much from where they are connected (EVEN using a REAL headphone extention cable), they can fly off your head in a heartbeat if you say bump into a chair for example and even with the included adapter it still kept falling out of my stereo headphone cable. 3 Stars cuz if your want something light and basic, they are pretty good. -2 stars cuz I had to return 2 of them that broke under normal usasge in a few months. And FYI, don't fall asleep wearing these, unless you are a motionless sleeper, as they will break eventually.

4.7 16X 120 Write-once DVD-R 100 pk Spindle Review
I have used this product before and it works great. Once in a while I will get a disc or two that do not work. I was disappointed when I received these in the mail because the spindle was busted in three spots and the discs were wedged in so hard that many were scratched badly. There was no cushioning in the box. So far only a few dics are bad. I am otherwise satisfied and know this was just bad shipping.

Maxell Music 80x / 700MB CD-R Media for Audio, 30 Pack Spindle Review
I've used these for a couple of years with near perfect success on my Tascam CD burner. Prior to acquiring the Tascam, I was burning discs on a second-hand JVC unit and having to toss 50% of the discs, Maxell or otherwise. Obviously, a great deal of your recording success is related to the capacity and quality of the burner and not to the discs. Sound quality and reliability of the Maxell Music CD-Rs is great and I recommend them highly.

Maxell Noise-Cancellation Headphones Review
Overall I have been very happy with these headphones. They are comfortable and the sound is fine for my purposes. I am not a critical audiophile, and to me these give a perfectly fine sound for my listening purposes. I like the long cord as well.
The only complaint I have is that they make my head and ears hot when I wear them for long periods of time. The leather around the ears gets very warm after listening for a while causing me to sweat a bit.
The noise reduction button works well, but does not completely shut off the outside world. I guess I expected it would, but this has not been a disappointment. Overall, this is a very good headphone for the price.

MAXELL 50-Pack DVD+R Recordable DVD (16X) Review
It took 3 weeks for this item to ship. And then almost a week for it to arrive once it was shipped. The box was 4 times the size of the spindle, and the only protective packaging was a air cushion thing on the side. This left 75% of the container unprotected and when I received it the case was broken. Dics are okay, but would be nice to have something to hold them in now.

Maxell CD-R Pro Series With Spindle, 700MB/80 Minutes, Pack Of 25 Review
i just received these cd-r's in the mail. compared them to the tdk audio blanks i had been using, and found that the maxell pro's are almost twice as thick.they are also thicker than commercially bought cd's.
however, i burned one of the maxell pro's last night on my dedicated cd recorder at 1x speed, and there was no problem. it played back faultlessly in both my home cd player and also in my car unit.
although, as i've already mentioned, they have additional thickness, they played perfectly with no jamming issues.
as far as the audio playback, one thing that stood out for me was that the loudness using the maxell pro's was noticably increased over the high end tdk's i'd been using.
because i'll never get into the ipod generation, i'll continue to burn cd-r's and i'll definitely be using these maxell pro's.
excellent product.
buyer alert: i mentioned that i use a dedicated cd recorder; it's a professional brand that records on any type of cd-r.if you have a dedicated cd recorder that requires 'audio or music only' cd-r's, i'm not sure that these will work in those machines.there's no info on the packaging that says otherwise. if you do need 'music only' cd-r's, i would recommend highly the tdk 'music' cd-r's. i've burned over 100 of them and have not created a coaster yet.tdk's cd-rw 'music only' blanks are also excellent. both tdk products can be purchased thru amazon.
ps: cd players circa 2001 and before do not like cd-r's. that includes home and car models.

Maxell - 100 x DVD-R - 4.7 GB 16x - spindle - storage media Review
The Maxell DVD-R discs are, for the most part, very reliable to record on. I have used this brand for years. However, the discs must be in pristine condition in order to properly record. My complaint isn't with the discs as much as it is with the packaging method that Amazon used (or didn't use) to ship them. I received two spindles of 100 that were just placed in a box and shipped. During transit, the spindle containers were demolished and all 2oo discs were jostled freely about inside the box. Many of the discs were scratched and rendered useless. All Amazon needed to do to prevent the mishap was to fill the voids in the shipping box with styrofoam peanuts or other packing material. I have read reviews from other customers who have had this same misfortune. I thought that maybe my experience would be different -- that maybe Amazon had fired the culprit(s) in their shipping department who neglected to use even the basic of packaging practices. I was wrong! They are still working there. From this experience I have learned that a penny saved is NOT necessarily a penny earned! These are the last DVD-R discs that I will buy from Amazon until they can prove that they really want my business.

Maxell BR-LC Blu-ray Lens Cleaner Review
I decided to purchase this as I have a DVD player which seems to have become 'unresponsive' to some DVD's. Upon receiving it a week ago, I have cleaned 3 DVD players, an HD-DVD, PS3, and 3 PC DVD drives.
While it *seems* like the DVD player in question is working better now, I'm not entirely convinced it's all in my head. Adding to this doubt is the video they run while the cleaning process is taking place -- it just seems cheesy.
With that said, I was going to rate this as 4-stars. If I had a definite problem (and this fixed it), I would have rated it 5. Conversely, if I had a definite problem (and it still remained), I would have rated this lower.
As noted above, I said I "was" going to rate as 4-stars. However, I'm rating it as 3-stars as I also tried looking up the patent on this (as it says it's patended technology). I was hoping upon reading it, it would either make me feel that much better about the purchase (or worse). Unfortunately, they don't list the patent # (which is odd as it doesn't say patent pending), and, at least with my limited search, I can't find anything about it. This makes me question just how good it is.
I did find on their website warning about standard DVD brush cleaners, that they could damage an HD-DVD or Blu-Ray player, and would be releasing this thing around March 2008. And I know that it takes a long, LONG time for the patent process to go it's full course. Nonetheless, at the moment, it sounds a bit like marketing puffery.
Would I recommend this? As it's allegedly the *only* safe cleaner for an HD-DVD or Blu-Ray player, yes. If/when there is an alternative, depending on if said alternative seemed more legit, my opinion might change.
